Following the Aqua, the Ulysse adventure continues with a second creation inspired by one of the great aesthetic legacies in the history of jewellery: the House of Fabergé.
The Saint-Pétersbourg dial blossoms into a vibrant composition of coloured gemstones, evoking the opulence, refinement, and extraordinary artistry that defined the Imperial Russian court. Every stone is carefully orchestrated into a floral symphony, echoing the poetic spirit and unrivalled craftsmanship that made Fabergé’s creations legendary.
Just as Alexandre Beauregard crossed the Atlantic—from Montréal to Geneva—to transform his vision into reality, the Fabergé legacy undertook its own remarkable journey, from La Bouteille in Picardy to Saint Petersburg, where it would flourish under the patronage of the Imperial Court. Two odysseys separated by centuries, united by the same relentless pursuit of beauty, innovation, and fearless creativity.
Each gemstone is individually sculpted and meticulously set by hand. Hidden beneath its surface, a delicate disc of Mother-of-Pearl acts as an invisible source of light, awakening the gem from within.
The result is a mesmerizing play of reflections, where every stone shimmers with its own unique luminosity. Light seems to travel through the composition, animating the dial with remarkable depth and transforming exceptional craftsmanship into living poetry.
